In this photo I added my own personal touch. I boosted the color and therefore the dirt appears red and it almost feels like this photo was taken on Mars. The sky has two different color shades. The upper left appears almost purple while the rest of the sky has different shades of blue.
Oh my, Jake! Such talent, such talent! The concept of your series is valuable because it addresses the artificial lifestyles our society seems to value. I especially love this photograph because it captures the magical vibrancy nature holds, and really inspires a person to hop off facebook and into their hiking shoes. Wonderful job, Cali boy.

I think the theme of the photographs is great. You did an amazing job capturing the beauty of nature overall. Also in your stamen you make a valid point when talking about our daily electronically dominated lives. Finally I think that using color for your photographs adds depth to the image. Great job!
